We begin in Cape Town - the town where modern South Africa was born - is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, a spectacular meeting of mountain and sea. Explore the coast on a unique hike along the African coast, enjoy the Cape Winelands, then cap it all off with an exciting wildlife safari at the exclusive Djume Voyatella Game Reserve!
Day 1:
Arrive in Cape Town and enjoy the luxury of Presidents Hotel
Day 2:
Ferry to Robben Island, infamous prison island for Nelson Mandela
Day 3:
Township touring today and learn about life under Aparthied
Day 4:
Visit the “Edge of the World” at Cape Point & Boulders Beach, then to wine country and our Franshoek B&B
Day 5:
A full day of wine tasting in the famous Franshoek “Winelands”
Day 6:
Fly to the coast and 2 nights at
the Morgan Bay Hotel with sea views
Day 7:
Hike, horseback ride or absailing along the Africa's “Wild Coast”
Day 8:
An easy walk along the beaches with guide & packed lunches to Haga Haga
Day 9:
Our second day of beach hiking, to Crawfords Chalet
Days 10-11:
We fly today to Djuma Safari Lodge, then spend a full day on safari!
Days 12-13:
Drive to Djuma Voyatella and two days in the South African bush
Day 14:
Back to Jo'burg and home
